Last April, we introduced an instant payments feature, CenttripNow, that enabled our corporate clients to send and receive free unlimited international payments in up to 15 currencies and in real time within the Centtrip network.
To build on its success and the positive feedback from our clients who said it helped them stay on top of their finances in real time, we have developed CenttripNow further and made it available to all our clients for individual instant payments.
Instant batched payments
In addition, our corporate clients can now pay multiple Centtrip recipients in different currencies in one go. The funds will reach them in their chosen currency instantaneously. Once connected with other Centtrip users via CenttripNow, you can set up and schedule batches of multi-currency instant payments for greater flexibility, efficiency and control.
“CenttripNow has proved to be highly cost- and time-effective for a number of our corporate clients looking to maintain healthy cash flows and meet critical deadlines and I am pleased it is now available to all our clients,” said Brian Jamieson, CEO of Centtrip. “Many existing settlement schemes have so far tackled the issue of timing and are able to offer instant payments, but only for those made in the same currency. CenttripNow solves both of those issues.”
While many would say that instant payments have become the new norm, this was still not the case for the wider payment industry. It still can take up to three–five days on average to settle a payment made in foreign currencies and such transactions usually incur a number of fees for conversion and admin.
Centtrip solved this problem by introducing CenttripNow to help its clients save time and money when making instant cross-currency payments without the need to use multiple accounts for different currencies. Sent and received in real time, the funds are instantly visible and ready for use in the recipient’s Centtrip account.
